What If Countries Were People?

The diversity of people around the globe is something to cherish. The natural beauty, traditions, clothing, and culture all make this world an exciting place to live in and to share our experiences with one another. Today we are going to explore this diversity through the eyes of AI. For the purposes of this experiment, we are going to use Midjourney AI’s V5.2 model.

To those of you unfamiliar with Midjourney AI — it is a Machine Learning model that turns text prompts into spectacular images.

We are going to reimagine each country as a person using AI. Not only we will be able to see how diverse the world actually is. But we will be able to look into an issue that's becoming more and more important as these technologies progress — bias in AI systems and training datasets. I will not be diving into geopolitics and will simply use this list of countries for our experiment. You can also find the prompt I used for all the generations at the bottom of the article.
