To My Friends

To My Friends,

A few days ago, I had a chance to talk with my high school friends through Google Meet. We talked about how each of us is living our lives right now. We both come from the same university, but even though we are from the same university, we rarely meet each other because of our busy schedules. During our online meeting, she told me about how her academic life is getting harder as time goes by, and also how she is still responsible for his non-academic life, such as being a coordinator in one of the organizations. I also told her the same thing; how I was living my academic and non-academic life over time. It felt so good, after all this time, we could talk. In addition, she talks about her current friendships, lecturers, family, and other problems; from minor problems to deep problems.

Not only her, I love hearing my friends talk about the things they’ve accomplished over time. Their success in competitions, getting good grades, joining clubs that support their interests, their success in getting scholarships, and getting partner as their support system; even as simple as they managed to get out of the problems they were having. In fact, I’m amazed at how much they’ve grown from when I first met them. I feel very proud to see that they have good resilience to be able to get up and continue living a life that may not always be happy.
