Seven Random Things About Myself That Are Damn Strange
After 21 months of being on Medium and becoming friends with so many of you, I’ve come to realize that most of you know me pretty well through my writing. Though I’ve posted a lot of blogs during this time, you probably haven’t heard about most of the things I consider to be odd about myself. I think it’s time to come clean and discuss a few of the eccentricities that I feel I have. Who wouldn’t want to learn more about their friends, right? Here are a number of things off the top of my head that I feel are a bit odd about me, that I’m willing to share with you. I think most people who are animal lovers and own pets probably talk to them during the course of a day at home.
Common phrases people use are probably ones like, “Go outside?”, “Treat?”, or “Go bye-bye?” These are fairly customary phrases to direct toward any dog. I’m unsure if it works the same for cats, fish, bearded dragons, axolotls, or anything else you might have as a pet. However, I straight up CONVERSE with my dog Libby. I’ll tell her where I’m going and how long I should be when I leave her alone in the house. I always tell her I love her and that I will miss her, and she gets a pet and a kiss. I’ll usually mention what we’re having for lunch and how long it should take to make it. She’s a Mooch, so I know she appreciates this information.
