Listen to These True Crime Podcasts This Fall
Once upon a time, I wanted to be an investigative journalist. I have been obsessed with forensic science. I believe my obsession started while watching the show “Bones”. I even explored investigative journalism at university. However, you don't have to be an investigative journalist or lawyer to experience the behind-the-scenes. True crime podcasts take you on an intriguing journey of unsolved mysteries. In this blog post, I'll share a few podcasts that helped me delve deeper into the psychology of crimes.“Serial” is a popular true crime podcast that examines one case each season. My favorite is season 1, Adan Syed’s case. Sarah Koenig has a captivating voice and great storytelling techniques. She takes you along the investigative process, each minute your view is shifting between and guilty.
“Undisclosed” was created by Rabia Chaudry, Colin Miller, and Susan Simpson, attorneys and legal experts. They investigate and discuss wrongful convictions. I enjoyed this one because the podcast goes deeper into Serial’s first season, Adnan’s case, and removes all your doubts. “Rabia and Ellyn Solve the Case” is another true crime podcast that actually solves old and new cases. The best part, Rabia and Ellyn bring celebrity guests to discuss these tangled cases.
