Save More Money You Fool

Save More Money You Fool

If I could tell my younger self anything at all, it would be to save more money. We were foolish many times over the years with purchases that caused us to dig into our savings. We could have so much more money now and be able to do more things today.I’m sure the purchases we made along the way were important at the time, and we have always lived for today more than we live for tomorrow. Tomorrow is never promised and if I want to do something today, I am going to do it. I have great memories of all the places we have been and things we have done over the years, I really wouldn’t take any of that away. Our kids get after us because we don’t have a lot of money saved up. They definitely won’t get much money when we die. Hopefully there will be enough to bury us, or cremate us, and pay off our debts. Other than that, I am not about having a ton of money stashed away. But it would be nice if we did. So, to my younger self I would say, “Don’t buy that shit! You don’t really need it. Leave the savings alone and let it grow so we can travel more when we retire.”
