DIRECTING THAT BIG PLAY WITH A BIG MIND
What exactly could I have accomplished without God? I thank God for everything including the challenges I encountered on my way to staging my big play. I thank my family, especially, my mother, Mrs. Florence Oladoyin Abayomi, for her moral and financial support. I thank you for trusting God and my art. You inspire me my woman! I thank Mr. Basiru A. Adebisi, whose contributions to our production was immense. I couldn’t have asked for a better supervisor. I thank my dearest Queen Akinduro (Stage Manager), Adebimpe Muinat (Costumier/Make-up Artist), Faruk Olanrewaju (Set Designer), Elohor Obada (Sound Designer), Mistura Owolabi (Light Designer), Damilola Adeoye (Property Manager) and Eniola Ajala (Business/Publicity Manager) for the efforts they put in even in hard times. I thank every actor that featured in the production especially the Old Man (Esu), Afolabi “Ado” Daniel and the five vagabond musicians namely, Timileyin Adefila (Epo Oyinbo), Michael Olu-Ajisafe (Omele), Ayooluwatomiwa Ajiboye (Sinsin), Tumise Akinluyi (Redio) and Oreoluwa Daniels (Jigi) for their undying passion for the art of acting.
